After much deliberations and negotiation we are pleased to announced the 2014 British Supermoto Calender. We have always been conscious of trying to secure dates early so competitors can plan their year as soon as possible. After the success of 2013 we wanted to expand our 2014 programme and try to incorporate some additional venues.
We are acutely aware that there are economic restrictions on most competitors, so in an effort to cut down costs we approached another organiser with a view to sharing at least two meetings next year. We thought this idea had great merit and would be good for the sport in general. However as at the moment we have not been successful, so we have gone ahead with our original dates, but efforts are still ongoing to bring this to fruition.
We feel that our venues and dates split give the best possible blend of tracks and locations to give every rider the challenges that the British Supermoto Championships demand. Our season kicks off with a non-championship warm up on the 15th March at 3 Sisters and we areplanning to hold an awards presentation at a nearby venue on that evening.
We have an exciting championship for 2014 with some more surprises and good news to follow in the coming weeks.
